Team Event Format – Sunday / Evento por Equipos Formato – Domingo
The primary format for the Team Event is 3 players, 2 men and 1 woman, with a match consisting of 1 men’s doubles and 2 mixed doubles. However teams may elect an alternate format of 2 men and 2 women, where you play 2 mixed doubles and then choose either to play your two men or your 2 women for the third doubles. In either case, a match is 3 games. The second alternate format that is permissible for two teams of 4, is 1 men’s doubles, 1 women’s doubles and 1 multi-player mixed, where the mixed pairs swap out at the half way point.
El formato principal del Evento por Equipos es de 3 jugadores (2 hombres y 1 mujer), con un partido compuesto por un doble masculino y dos dobles mixtos. Sin embargo, los equipos pueden optar por un formato alternativo de 2 hombres y 2 mujeres, donde se juegan dos dobles mixtos y luego se elige si los dos hombres o las dos mujeres juegan el tercer doble. En cualquier caso, un partido consta de 3 juegos. El segundo formato alternativo, permitido para dos equipos de 4, es un doble masculino, un doble femenino y un mixto multi-jugador, donde las parejas mixtas se intercambian a mitad de la competición.
